Where can I set up an Origin practice?

An Origin practice can be set up pretty much anywhere, as long as the market analysis for that area supports it.

What if it doesn’t work out and I don’t want to buy the practice?

Until you purchase the practice, you are an Associate Doctor under a normal associate contract with no obligation to buy the practice at any time.

Will I have a guaranteed salary to start?

Yes. As an Associate Doctor you will receive a guaranteed minimum or a % of production (the higher of the two) along with a generous benefit package as stated in your contract.

Can I help in the design of the practice?

Yes. Since this will eventually be your office, we encourage your input and preferences in both office design and equipment options.

Is the purchase price set from the beginning?

Yes and No. Since there is no telling in the future exactly what the practice will be worth it would be unwise for both Origin and the buying dentist to set a price. However, we have a very fair formula to calculate the eventual purchase price before we even break ground. There will be no surprises.

When can I buy the practice?

Typically, the purchase of the practice will occur between the second and third year, but we understand that certain circumstances may make better sense at other times as well. Our unique purchase formula allows for a buy-in at anytime during the first five years.

Who is eligible for this opportunity?

All legally licensed dentists with a desire for ownership and the credit history necessary to purchase the practice.

Do I have to put out any money to get started?

Once an contract is signed, we will require a commitment fee that will be held in escrow and applied to your purchase. Should you elect not to buy the practice, the escrow amount will be fully refunded according to your agreement.

What is the cost for this service?

Origin does not charge for our “service”. We are not dental consultants or practice brokers. Our success depends on your success and creates a Win-Win scenario. Origin only prospers if we deliver a thriving dental business model to our clients.
